Who this is about

This website is run by TCS Trade Pty Ltd T/A Apex Bathrooms ACT, ABN 65 618 883 079. We are the ones who decide what happens to anything you send us here. To reach us about this policy, email apextilingact@gmail.com or use our contact page.

The enquiry form

When you send the form on the contact page we receive what you typed: your name, your phone number, your email address, your suburb, the service you chose and your message. We also record which page you sent it from, including any campaign tag on the link that brought you here, so we know which page answered your question.

Two emails are sent when you submit the form: one to us with what you wrote, and one back to you confirming we have it. Both are delivered by Resend, an email provider acting on our instructions.

If you attach photos or plans to the form, they are emailed to Apex Bathrooms ACT with your enquiry, as attachments on the email to us, so we can prepare your quote. They are not stored on this website, and they are not sent back to you in the confirmation.

To keep the form from being used by robots and bulk senders, your submission is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile and your IP address is counted against a short-term limit. The IP address is used for that check and nothing else.

We use what you send to answer you, to price the job and to do the work. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to anyone else for their own marketing.

The instant quote designer

The 3D designer on the instant quote page is hosted by Connect Your Way at designer.connectyourway.au and runs inside a frame on our site. If you send us a design, we receive the room you built, the products you chose and the screenshots, together with the email address you give the designer so it can send you a copy. There is no price on screen and no payment is taken. Connect Your Way operates the tool for us and does not use what you send it for anything else.

The recent work feed

The photographs and captions in the recent work feed are of our own completed jobs, posted by us. They carry the suburb and the service, never a customer's name, address or contact details. If a job of yours appears there and you would rather it did not, tell us and it comes down.

Measurement

If website analytics are switched on for this site, they count visits and which pages were read. They are configured to report on the site, not to build a profile of you, and they are not used for advertising. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also keeps short technical logs of requests, which is how any website on the internet is served and kept up.

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our email while we are quoting and for as long as we need them as a record of the job - a quote and the work that followed are business records. The short-term anti-spam counts expire within minutes. Designs sent from the instant quote designer are kept while we are quoting them.

Seeing it, correcting it, removing it

Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you. Ask us to correct it and we will. Ask us to delete an enquiry and we will, unless we still need it for a job we are doing or have done for you. Email apextilingact@gmail.com or use our contact page.

If you think we have mishandled your details, tell us first and we will put it right. You can also raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page. The date below is when it last changed.
